Hurricane Katrina

In September 2005, DHL was commissioned by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to manage the relief supplies that New Orleans was receiving in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Following its experience of handling relief material during the tsunami, the DHL team was well prepared to handle the situation during Hurricane Katrina.
