In 1999, TMT Services, a Hyderabad-based organization predicted an
increase in insurance prices and locked-in premiums with three year
contracts. At that time, long-term lock-in premiums were possible. "So
we are having a free ride until the renewals come up in 2002,"
proclaimed Deven Rathore, senior director of the organization. "We had
some good advice from our broker, and were able to beat the price hike
before it hit us," he added. "Further, we have not had to raise our
deductibles to offset premium increases, though that's what a lot of my
peers in other companies are doing now," he said... |
